Progress and Something Funny

Progress is that Henry now sits in a "big boy chair" at the table with the family. He is so proud! Meanwhile, Mommy was very happy to take the high chair out and scrub it from top to bottom, to get it ready for ... storage? Sale? Whatever. It won't be taking up dining room real estate at any rate!

And for something funny. This morning, after Lily was finished getting ready for school, she took a look at Henry, who was running around in nothing but a diaper, as Mommy had become distracted halfway through dressing him. Lily marched Henry upstairs, and there were some giggling sounds, some squealing, and big sister admonishments for Henry to be patient... Then a little while later, this pair of people came back downstairs. Lily had dressed Henry, brushed his teeth, and had applied just a leeeeeeetle dab of Daddy's hair gel and brushed Henry's hair all smooth. He was extremely pleased with his appearance, proclaiming "I a TIDY boy!"
