All the third graders in all the Grand Haven elementary schools were asked to write poems about Christmas. A few poems from each school were chosen to be read by the authors on our local radio station. Lily's poem was one of those selected, and the Tuesday before Thanksgiving she read her poem in a recording studio at the radio station. Throughout the Christmas season, the radio station will be broadcasting the various kids' poems. Here is Lily's (she typed her poem at school, and used colored fonts just as I have done here).
